Frostpunk, developed by 11-bit Studios, commemorates its sixth anniversary, marking a successful tenure since its release. The game, which debuted in 2018 on PC and later expanded to PS4, Xbox One, and MacOS, has now surpassed five million sales across all platforms.

In terms of user engagement, approximately three percent of all players have logged over 100 hours in the game. The average playtime hovers around 24 hours. Notably, on Steam, a scant 0.6 percent have earned the "Endless Slave Driver" achievement, which is awarded when all settlements in Endless Mode grow wary of the player’s leadership.

"The City Must Survive," a highlight from the Frostpunk soundtrack, has become immensely popular, accruing over 6.4 million streams on Spotify and more than 1.3 million views on YouTube.

Looking ahead, the next chapter in the series, Frostpunk 2, is set to release on July 25 for PC, with versions for Xbox Series X/S and PS5 slated for a later date. In anticipation, 11-bit Studios hosted a beta for those who purchased the Deluxe Edition, providing a sneak peek at the game's Utopia Builder mode.
