Sony has revealed the hardware specifications necessary for the impending PC version of God of War Ragnarok, and they are quite demanding, requiring significant resources across various settings. Regardless of the preset chosen, players must have an SSD installed and a substantial amount of storage capacity—specifically, 190 GB of free space.

For those aiming to experience the game on ultra settings with a resolution of 4K at 60 frames per second, the requirements include either an RTX 7070 Ti or an RX 7900 XT graphics card paired with either an Intel i5-11600K or a Ryzen 7 3700X processor. For the recommended settings, which will operate at 1080p and 60 FPS, players will need an RTX 2060 Super or an RX 5700 along with either an i5-8600 or a Ryzen 5 3600.

Every configuration, with the exception of the lowest settings, necessitates 16 GB of RAM, while the entry-level setup requires only 8 GB. Detailed specifications are also available for “High” and “Performance” settings, designed to run the game at resolutions of 1440p/60 FPS and 4K/60 FPS respectively.

Additionally, it has been confirmed that the PC version will support technologies such as DLSS 3.7, FSR 3.1, and XeSS 1.3. Pre-ordering the game will also grant players exclusive in-game items, including the Risen Snow Armor for Kratos and the Risen Snow Tunic cosmetic for Atreus.

The PC launch of God of War Ragnarok is scheduled for September 19, and a PSN account will be required for access, as previously announced.
