Today marked a significant day for Cyberpunk 2077 with its first and final major DLC, Phantom Liberty, reaching the hands of eagerly waiting fans. It was clearly anticipated as evident by it achieving a peak of 246,754 concurrent players during the evening on Steam, according to SteamDB. 

This player count is the highest the game has experienced since its tumultuous launch three years prior. In our view, CD Projekt Red has earned this success, having initially resolved the problems with the base game to unlock its full potential before delivering a truly enjoyable DLC journey.
