The upcoming game Star Wars Outlaws is expected to offer the inaugural comprehensive Star Wars open-world experience. Launching next month, players will visit various renowned Star Wars locations, such as the sandy expanses of Tattooine and the bustling metropolis of Canto Bight. However, the game will bring one completely original setting - Toshara, a moon masterminded by the game's creator, Massive Entertainment.

In an insightful video released by IGN, the game development team shared exclusive details about Toshara’s formation process. The team also elaborated on its lore, geographical features, and more.

Fashioned after the African savanna, Toshara is a wind-ravaged moon with unique features that spur player curiosity. Toshara boasts deposits of a vibrant, orange substance called Amberine, which is prominently featured in its lore. Natural ramps formed from Amberine dot the horizon, serving as make-shift launchpads for daredevil speeder stunts.

Apart from Amberine, there is ample to explore, such as ancient spacecraft wreckage, hidden Empire bases, and constant encounters with underworld elements. Adventure isn’t limited to Toshara’s wind-lashed plains. You will also plunge into the tightly-knit, shadowy city of Mirogana, strategically located within a gigantic mountain. Carved from the rocky mass to provide shelter from Toshara's high-velocity winds, Mirogana promises an exciting exploration opportunity.

Star Wars Outlaws will be launched on August 30 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
