Sonic the Hedgehog is one of the most popular video game characters of all time. He has starred in numerous games over the years and has even been featured in his own comic book and cartoon series. Sonic games are known for their fast-paced gameplay, colorful graphics, and catchy music.

Sonic Generations is a 2011 platform game developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega. The game was released in North America on November 15, 2005, in Europe on February 10, 2006, and in Japan on March 30, 2006. It is part of the Sonic the Hedgehog series and follows Shadow the Hedgehog—an artificial life form created by Dr. Eggman—as he searches for answers regarding his past while being pursued by government agents intent on capturing him. Throughout the course of the game's storyline, Shadow can align himself with either good or evil forces; depending on which side he chooses to assist will result in different levels being played with different challenges being offered within them.
